Dr. Gholam Ali Miamee DDS is not accepting exam appointments, checkups or cleanings.

Dr. Gholam Ali Miamee DDS accepts only surgical procedures that require special attention due to some complications.

If the patient has a problem that may require Dr. Gholam Ali Miamee DDS then they must first have examination with our associate dentists.

After the associate dentist treatment plans a surgical procedure that requires special attention, the patient will then be offered an appointment with Dr. Gholam Ali Miamee DDS for consult and/or treatment.

Bad news is he can't do your checkup/cleaning anymore. Good news is he will be standing by if someone in your family needs a tough extraction or root canal one day.

Dr. Gholam Ali Miamee DDS (and all the dentists in our dental office) are only general dentists. You should always get second opinion or expert level care from specialist dentists such as endodontist, oral surgeon, periodontist, prosthodontist, orthodontist and/or pedodontist to get the highest level of care. Specialist dentists are far superior to general dentist in every way. They have amazing training that is much more advanced than a general dentist. Furthermore, they have experience that is light years ahead of any general dentist's experience with these complicated procedures. Thus, even though Dr. Gholam Ali Miamee DDS and other general dentists perform extractions, root canals and implants we can never hope to have the same level of expertise as a formally trained specialist dentist. Thus, we recommend Dr. Charles Fields Periodontist, Dr. Pedram Yahgmaie Oral Surgeon, Dr. Gerard Marlin Prosthodontist, Dr. Lan Tran Orthodontist, Dr Alan Woohee Lee endodontist, etc.

15 Essential Questions to Ask Your Family Dentist Today

Caring for your family’s oral health goes beyond daily brushing and flossing – it involves open conversations with your family dentist. But, what exactly should you ask during your visit? Here’s your roadmap to the most pivotal questions that will help you and your loved ones maintain those pearly whites for a lifetime.

1. What Should I Include in My Daily Dental Care Routine?

The cornerstone of oral health rests on an effective daily dental care routine. Your family dentist can provide personalized recommendations, considering factors such as age, dental history, and specific health needs. Inquire about the best toothpaste options, the ideal frequency of brushing, and whether mouthwash is advisable for your situation. Address the role of flossing in preventing dental issues and how to correctly use dental floss to maximize its benefits.

2. How Often Should My Family and I Visit the Dentist?

Regular dental check-ups play a pivotal role in maintaining oral health, but the frequency can vary based on individual needs. Most dentists recommend visits every six months, yet your family’s specific circumstances might necessitate a customized schedule. Ask your dentist about how often you and each family member should come in for routine check-ups and cleanings, as well as the factors that influence these recommendations.

3. What Are the Signs of Gum Disease I Should Watch For?

Gum disease, if left unchecked, can lead to serious dental and overall health issues. Familiarizing yourself with its early signs can lead to prompt intervention and treatment. Discuss with your dentist the red flags of gum disease, including bleeding gums, persistent bad breath, receding gum line, and loose teeth. Understanding these symptoms can empower you to seek timely care and possibly reverse the condition.

4. Can You Offer Dietary Advice to Improve Oral Health?

Diet plays a significant role in oral health, influencing everything from tooth strength to gum condition. Solicit your dentist’s advice on foods and drinks that benefit oral health, along with those to avoid. Queries may include guidance on the consumption of sugar, the impact of acidic foods and beverages on enamel, and the role of calcium in tooth health. Such dietary insights can be instrumental in preventing cavities and maintaining robust oral health for your family.

5. At What Age Should My Child First Visit the Dentist?

Initiating dental visits at the right age is essential for your child’s long-term oral health. Discuss with your dentist the recommended timing for this milestone, typically suggested by the American Dental Association as soon after the first tooth appears but no later than the first birthday. This early introduction to dental care can help in identifying potential issues early, establishing a foundation for good dental habits, and reducing future dental anxieties.

What our patients say

This was my first visit and I adored this dentist!!! Ultra-modern and hip. The doctors and the whole staff were friendly and made you feel very at ease. Each chair has a personal flat screen and a huge movie list. I watched the notebook while I got my teeth cleaned!!! They also do Zoom Whitening and I have already made my appt for it!

This is the NICEST and BEST dentist office I’ve ever been to. They were friendly, gentle and accomodating. I’ve been to dentists who were crabby and mean, ones who got irritated when you truthfully admitted to skipping a few flosses here and there. The people who helped me were amazing! I’m glad we found this place! Go now!! You will not be disappointed! They even have TV while you get something done.

Absolutely Fabulous! Not only did they do a great job with my cleaning, but they also had the daunting task of filling my 5-year old daughter’s cavities. Needless to say that she was not the most cooperative with them but they were always patient with her and, although it took 3 trips before she finally was able to go through with it (lol), their first priority was always making sure that she didn’t develop a stigma about dentists and remained comfortable. I will be calling you again in 6 months! Oh, and I love the fact that they have TVs to watch while getting work done!

Dr. Miamee and his crew were outstanding and they all were treating me in a most professional way. I will recommend them to all my family and friends.

The most contemporary office I’ve been to. It’s worth going just to see the technology there. Super friendly staff and great doctor. He is so caring I can not believe it. I highly recommend him for kids.
